Christmas 2007

We did get a little dusting of snow while we were in the mountains. GG took Zeke and Caelan out to play in it, after a while she pulled them both around in the wagon. Then when the snow was gone GG pulled Zeke in the wagon and Papa pushed Caelan on the bike.


Zeke was so happy when he was given the Wii remote. It was not hooked up but he did not care.


This lasted for a little while one night. But the kids did not want to stay still because they might fall asleep.


Papa & GG decided to get a small real tree for the grandkids to decorate. They loved it!


Then at the end of the time together they would go plant it together and take a picture of the kids by it. We did it really fast after church Sun. and right before Cliff, Tali and the girls took off. Right after this picture Brenna rolled down the hill, but it did not bother her one bit.

Sorry for the delay in pictures we spent the week of Christmas up in Wishon, CA with Neisha's family this year. My parents just moved into their new house right before we all showed up for the week. We all had such a fun time hanging out by the fire, playing lots of games, eating together and watching the kids play together. Brice's parents even came up for dinner one night to see the family. We had planned to head home Sat. but Zeke and I ended up staying to help GG and Papa finish unpacking the house before GG had to go back to work. We were able to get a lot done over the last week. We got home last night and Daddy had a surprise waiting for us. While we were gone Brice had fixed up Zeke's bedroom. Zeke walked in last night and saw the changes and had a big smile on his face. The below picture is of the change, the room was just the blue color on top. I will post more pictures of Christmas later, I promise. Last night we switched cars and had dinner with my parents and Brice told them the surprises. My surprise was a new very nice shower head in our bathroom.




If you can't tell the bedroom is a car theme. Brice went out and found all the stuff. He got some Cars (the movie) gifts from the both sets of grandparents so we had talked about doing that in his room. Brice did such an awesome job with the room. I think Zeke will enjoy it for a long time.

Haircut

Tonight we decided to give Zeke a haircut. We have done this before but using just scissors and Zeke just wants to watch what Brice is doing with the scissors. Tonight we put on a video and Zeke sat in his saucer and Brice used the clippers. Zeke was a very good boy and Brice did a great job. Now he is all ready to attend the wedding this next weekend!

Christmas Already!

I can't believe it is already December. We got our tree up last week. Zeke has been loving it and with the lights on. We put ornaments down on his level that he can touch. he is learning which ones are ok and not ok for him to touch. Gifts are under the tree and surprisingly Zeke has not tried to open one. We will see how long that goes on.

We are starting to all feel better. Here are some pictures of our sweet boy!

The Sat. right after Thanksgiving Zeke came down with the flu. He is just starting to get back to himself. Brice is also starting not to feel well. So far I have felt fine. So please pray for the family. And once we are all healthy again I promise there will be pictures.

We have been having so much fun with Zeke. He is in the stage where he is starting to copy what we do. So the other day Brice was stretching so Zeke started to stretch with his Dad. And while playing one day Brice pointed at Zeke and told him to come to him and Zeke looked at Brice and put his arm in the air and pointed his finger at Brice and took off.

Zeke is also starting to add more words to his daily vocabulary. Right now we are working on "Love You." And the other day for the first time when Brice left for work and we went through the goodbyes and I said "Say Love you Daddy" and Zeke waved and said in his way "Love You." We just love hearing him say that.

Halloween

Here is Zeke helping clean out one of our pumpkins. He was not real sure about it, and tried to eat the seeds right out of the pumpkin.



Here is Zeke and Brice before going to a youth rally in Martinez this last weekend. We housed the Santa Rosa kids and Brice was leading worship during the weekend. The teens all loved Zeke's shirt and hair style.



Tonight our church had Treat in a Trunk in the parking lot. Zeke caught on pretty fast what he needed to do. He was a very good boy to stay in this all night.

Home Again!

Zeke loved being around all the family, but when we got home yesterday afternoon he was so excited to see Daddy. He would hold onto Brice's pant leg and pull him to where Zeke wanted to go. Then they got some cuddle time when it was bedtime. He loves his Daddy!

Trip to Fresno

This past week we spent in Fresno visiting family. Tali and the girls came out from Texas so Amber & Jeremy came to Fresno and then Zeke and I joined the group. The Great Grandparents joined the party too! We all had a lot of fun hanging out together. Then Zeke and I headed to Grandma Sue's to see her and Great Aunt Mary Ann. I forgot to ever get the camera out but we had a good time. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Pumpkin Patch

Last week we went to a Pumpkin Patch here in town. Zeke loved being able to pick up the little pumpkins. We ended up getting a big pumpkin to carve and a small one for Zeke. We will post pictures of the carving later.

The other day we found a little park near the house. It is in walking distance, which is great! We have only been there this one time but we plan on going there a lot. Zeke had fun running around and playing on all the toys.



Here is Zeke in his rocking chair. This chair was passed to Zeke from one of his Great Grandmas. He loves it! He is always wanting to climb on it. When he gets up on it he sits in it backwards and rocks like crazy.

We are starting to get settled in our new house. There is still a lot to do and I am sorry we have not posted a picture earlier. Hopefully next week I can get a few others up, but here is one picture for now.

Happy Birthday Aunt Amber!

Zeke wanted to wish Aunt Amber Happy Birthday. (Her birthday is Thursday) We love you and hope you have a great day!

Helping Dad & Mom

This past weekend we had a chance to go through some boxes in the garage. As you can see Zeke was a big help. He even needed some sweat bands he was working so hard!

Bike

This past weekend we finally put Zeke's bike together that he got for his birthday. His feet barely reach the ground but that has not stopped him. He loves it! Anytime he can see it he wants on it.



This picture is of him trying to get on it. After he gets his feet on the seat he lets go of the handles and stands up. Last night he started to figure out that he needs to put his leg on the other side of the seat.

We're Moving

If you have not heard the news we will be moving to Antioch, CA. Brice has taken a position preaching with the Eastside Church of Christ. Please keep us in your prayers and we pack up and as we when begin to work in a new area of ministry.
This past weekend we went to the house in Antioch and picked out paint colors for the inside. Here is Zeke in the middle of the living room playing. He loved all the open space to run around in.

Grandma & Pa came to visit us this last weekend. We of course had a lot of fun!

Daddy's Home! We have been pretty busy since Daddy got home.


While Daddy was gone this last time Aunt Amber & GG came up to help Mommy. We had a lot of fun. Then Daddy, Papa & Uncle Jeremy came in on Friday so we could all attend Peter & Lindsey's wedding. We all had a great time being together.

Last weekend Aunt Brooke, Uncle Paul and Ethan came up to visit. I enjoyed playing with Ethan. It was hard to get a picture of both of us looking at the camera though.



And this weekend Grandma & Pa are coming to visit. We are very excited to spend some time with them.
