Welcome

Zeke wanted to be sure to welcome his new cousin to the big show. Brice's sister Bridget gave birth to Taylor Brooke Wooton this morning and everyone is doing well.

He even wanted to take a bath to make sure that he looked good for the occasion.

Doctor Appointment

This last Monday Zeke had his 2 month check up. He is doing great. He now weighs 11 lbs. 2 oz. and is 22 3/4 inches long. Also along with his check up he had his first set of shots. He handled them pretty well.
Zeke is talking and smiling more and more each day, even when he is not on his changing table! Each day is so much fun. We now wondering what we did with our time before we had Zeke was here. We will try to get some new pictures up soon!

Catching up

Sorry it has been so long since we put anything up. Here are some pictures of Zeke over Labor Day. We ended up going to Fresno for the long weekend. Zeke got to see both sets Grandparents, and some Aunts and Uncles. Over the weekend we went up to the cabin one afternoon, looked at some books, did lots of shopping, talked and smiled a lot!

Changing Pad

So here is the funny thing about Zeke. He loves his changing table. For some reason unknown to us, he gives us the biggest smiles when he is laying on his changing pad. He can even be crying in the living room and as we take him down the hall he gets quiet, then when we lay him down on his changing table he is all smiles. The boy must love clean drawers. Here is the evidence.

August update

Sorry that it has been so long since we have posted anything. Since we last posted, Ezekiel has been to Fresno a couple of times. He got to meet his cousins Justin, Kathleen, Reese, Madison and Braeden for the first time, not to mention the fact that he got to go to Caelan's first b-day party in Yosemite. He is a traveling fool. He also got to meet Uncles Cliff, Tadd, Paul and Randy and his "favorite" aunt Beth. I leave you to interpret the quotation marks. He is growing pretty fast, which means that more of his clothes fit. Neisha started back to work this week, and it went reasonably well. Here are some new pics.

Hey everybody! Thanks for all of the picture requests, and we are sorry that it has taken us so long to post. Zeke is doing pretty well. He is not quite as mellow as he used to be but he is still a pretty cool little boy. He has definitely found his lungs and has demonstrated how well he can scream. We are so proud. Here are some new pics.

Well, we have made it through our first few weeks, and Zeke has already gained a whole pound and grown almost an inch longer! He now weighs 6lbs 8oz and is 19.75 inches long. The doctor called it an impressive growth rate. He has even outgrown two of his preemie gowns. Is this the little boy I carried? I regress. Please keep us in your prayers as we are discovering all of the joys and trials of being new parents.

4th of july

Happy fourth of July! We have been instructed by a certain aunt that she is only interested in seeing pictures of Ezekiel, and that no one else. We will try to oblige, although I cannot promise that no one else will be with him.



Here he is with his cousin Caelan. She was so excited to get to meet him, we thought she might hurt someone. Not Ezekiel though. She did a great job of "patting" the baby.



Caelan is a little bit bigger than Zeke, but that just means that she will be able to protect him.



And for his auntie (Coughbethcough) here is one more of Zeke by himself.

Here are a few more pictures for you. Our first night at home went pretty smoothly. He slept great and the feedings went off without a hitch. He had to go in for a lab today, and his jaundace numbers are a little high, so be praying that they come down soon. Mom is doing great, and we feel very blessed.

Showers!

Here are a few pictures from the shower the ladies at College Church of Christ gave us. We are very blessed by the support of all our friends and family.

Here Neisha is opening a gift from Lee & Sue, Brice's parents. It was all of the blankets that Brice had when he was a baby. We also got his baby book, which was fun to look through when we got home!

We also had a shower with Neisha's family the next weekend. It was fun to get to see all the extended family and spend a little bit of time with them. We will be posting those pictures soon.

39 weeks

For those of you who don't know, Neisha had her Due Date moved up to July 3rd. We have been very busy the last couple of weeks getting things ready for Buster to arrive. Neisha has her next appointment this Monday morning. On Monday she will be 39 weeks! The picture below is from today, Sat. June 25th.

35 weeks

This is Neisha at 35 weeks. Isn't she precious?

Santa Rosa Shower

Neisha is now a little over 34 weeks (6 more weeks till D Day). Our Childbirth classes are going well. We only have two more to attend!

Last Sunay afternoon was our shower here in Santa Rosa. Gail and Sue went with Neisha to the shower and the guys went to get the crib from the store. Our church family was very generous. We got a cowboy outfit (see below) and some Jordan booties for Buster (both from the grandparents). The whole weekend was wonderful.

The above picture was taken Sunday night right before we put all of the gifts away.

The above picture is what Buster got from Lee. Wrangler jeans, Wrangler snap shirt, white cowboy boats, matching belt, and the hat.

32 Weeks!

Here is Neisha at 32 weeks. Which means only 8 weeks left! Sleeping is getting harder and harder each night, but it is all preparation for the nights to come, right?

We have a Doctor appointment tomorrow morning. Then tomorrow night we will begin Childbirth Classes. We will keep you all posted on how things are going!

Here is Neisha last Sunday afternoon at 28 weeks and 1 day. Our last appointment was a little over a week ago. The Doctor said everything is looking good. We also had to start doing a "kick count card" this past Mon. We have to see how long it takes him to move 10 times within two hours. We have been doing that in the evenings, which has been his most active time so far.

Here are some new pictures of Neisha. The top one was taken yesterday, while the bottom one was taken a few weeks ago. She is getting bigger, and Buster has been moving around a lot. Neisha is still feeling pretty good, mostly just dealing with soreness.

Some people have better things to do than going around taking pictures of other people's stomachs. Who am I kidding. I have nothing better to do. I am just lazy.
