The last couple of weeks have been busy! Zeke & Neisha went to Fresno and spent the weekend with Neisha's family, and had lunch with Grandma Sue and Uncle Tom & Aunt Evelyn.

While we were in Fresno we were able to celebrate GG's birthday. Caelan and Zeke decorated a cake for GG.


We watched a lot of birds at GG and Grandpa's house.


Great Grandma Donna and Great Grandpa Ray had a picture treasure hunt for Caelan and Zeke.

Zeke loves standing up now. Once he is up it is very hard to get him to get him to sit down.


Also with standing he loves to hold onto your fingers and walk all over the place. He has such a cute little smile when you start walking.


We are not sure if Zeke is showing off his teeth or what. He just started doing this last week as his first smile. Then after a while he will finally give us the real one. It is pretty funny though. We have know idea who he picked it up from, but we like it!

8 Month Update

I had my doctor appointment and everything is great. I had more shots, which was not fun for me or Mom and Dad. My two front top teeth are coming in. I already have my two front bootom teeth. I am sitting all by myself, and working on crawling. GG came and stayed the week with me while Dad went to look for summer interns. Grandpa came up for a few days also, but he had to go back to work. My First Christmas

Christmas was a very busy time for us! We made three different trips to Fresno and enjoyed them all! I was able to see both sides of the family. Here are a few pictures from both trips, hope you enjoy!



Mom and Dad had me dress up as a Christmas tree for both family get togethers!




I got a chair to help me sit up. Another fun gift was a motorcyle rocking horse (pictures will be up later of that, I am a little small for it right now).

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to GG & Grandpa's house. Aunt Amber, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Tali, Uncle Cliff and cousin Caelan were all there for the week. We also got to see some other family. it was so much fun. Here are a few pictures from the week.

I had rice cereal for the first time over Thanksgiving. I loved it!

Welcome

Zeke wanted to be sure to welcome his new cousin to the big show. Brice's sister Bridget gave birth to Taylor Brooke Wooton this morning and everyone is doing well.

He even wanted to take a bath to make sure that he looked good for the occasion.

Doctor Appointment

This last Monday Zeke had his 2 month check up. He is doing great. He now weighs 11 lbs. 2 oz. and is 22 3/4 inches long. Also along with his check up he had his first set of shots. He handled them pretty well.
Zeke is talking and smiling more and more each day, even when he is not on his changing table! Each day is so much fun. We now wondering what we did with our time before we had Zeke was here. We will try to get some new pictures up soon!

Catching up

Sorry it has been so long since we put anything up. Here are some pictures of Zeke over Labor Day. We ended up going to Fresno for the long weekend. Zeke got to see both sets Grandparents, and some Aunts and Uncles. Over the weekend we went up to the cabin one afternoon, looked at some books, did lots of shopping, talked and smiled a lot!

Changing Pad

So here is the funny thing about Zeke. He loves his changing table. For some reason unknown to us, he gives us the biggest smiles when he is laying on his changing pad. He can even be crying in the living room and as we take him down the hall he gets quiet, then when we lay him down on his changing table he is all smiles. The boy must love clean drawers. Here is the evidence.

August update

Sorry that it has been so long since we have posted anything. Since we last posted, Ezekiel has been to Fresno a couple of times. He got to meet his cousins Justin, Kathleen, Reese, Madison and Braeden for the first time, not to mention the fact that he got to go to Caelan's first b-day party in Yosemite. He is a traveling fool. He also got to meet Uncles Cliff, Tadd, Paul and Randy and his "favorite" aunt Beth. I leave you to interpret the quotation marks. He is growing pretty fast, which means that more of his clothes fit. Neisha started back to work this week, and it went reasonably well. Here are some new pics.

Hey everybody! Thanks for all of the picture requests, and we are sorry that it has taken us so long to post. Zeke is doing pretty well. He is not quite as mellow as he used to be but he is still a pretty cool little boy. He has definitely found his lungs and has demonstrated how well he can scream. We are so proud. Well, we have made it through our first few weeks, and Zeke has already gained a whole pound and grown almost an inch longer! He now weighs 6lbs 8oz and is 19.75 inches long. The doctor called it an impressive growth rate. He has even outgrown two of his preemie gowns. Is this the little boy I carried? I regress. Please keep us in your prayers as we are discovering all of the joys and trials of being new parents.

4th of july

Happy fourth of July! We have been instructed by a certain aunt that she is only interested in seeing pictures of Ezekiel, and that no one else. We will try to oblige, although I cannot promise that no one else will be with him.



Here he is with his cousin Caelan. She was so excited to get to meet him, we thought she might hurt someone. Not Ezekiel though. She did a great job of "patting" the baby.



Caelan is a little bit bigger than Zeke, but that just means that she will be able to protect him.



And for his auntie (Coughbethcough) here is one more of Zeke by himself.

Here are a few more pictures for you. Our first night at home went pretty smoothly. He slept great and the feedings went off without a hitch. He had to go in for a lab today, and his jaundace numbers are a little high, so be praying that they come down soon. Mom is doing great, and we feel very blessed.
